Mary Ann Urban

Director

Mary Ann Urban holds certificates in CLHRP (Certified Laser Hair Removal Professional) and CME (Certified Medical Electrologist) and is a fully-licensed aesthetician. In 1985, Mary Ann started as an electrologist and has been working in the hair removal industry for 26 years.

In 2000, Mary Ann and her business partner, Stacey Upchurch, attended Rocky Mountain Laser College before opening their first Avante Laser Training Institute and Medispa in The Woodlands, Texas. A year later, they both opened a second Avante Laser Training Institute in the heart of Houston.

And now, they are offering their services in Dallas, San Antonio, McAllen, Laredo, Austin, Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

Sue Cote

Instructor

Sue Cote is a certified nurse practitioner who has worked as a health care professional for over 30 years. In 1997, she incorporated an aesthetic component in her women’s health practice to be able to meet her patients’ medical aesthetic needs and wellbeing. Since then, she has attended multiple dermal filler and Botox advanced courses to be able to teach our injectables’ course and perform injections according to the best practices.

Sue has her own Women’s Health Practice in The Woodlands at the moment and works as an associate professor at Texas A&M University, Medical School. Not only does she inject dermal fillers and Botox, but she also teaches injectables to medical professional at Avante Laser Training Institute, The Woodlands.

Patricia Garcia

Instructor

Patricia Garcia received her aesthetic training from the Aveda Institute and has been operating as a licensed aesthetician since 2010. Upon receiving her training and certificate at Avante Laser Training Institute, she started operating as a laser hair removal technician as well.

Patricia’s wide aesthetic experience covers many services such as Customized Facials, Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion, Chemical Exfoliation and Skin Microneedling. She is also certified in Reaction by Viora, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Laser Safety and Sciton Advanced Applications.

Patricia returned to Avante Laser Training Institute, The Woodlands and is currently teaching seminar classes in IPL/Photofacials, Skin Tightening, Body Contouring, Microneedling and Skin Resurfacing.

In addition to the experience mentioned above, Patricia has experience using GLO Minerals, PCA, Biopelle and Apeele Peels ad she uses her extensive experience in providing her students as well as her clients with professional service and care.

Anne Voss

Instructor

Anne Voss started is an Electrologist and has been in the laser hair removal and skincare industry since 1994. Afterwards, Anne has significantly grown in both her training and education leading to becoming a licensed laser hair removal professional through the Texan Department of Licensing and Registration and getting her TWC certification to teach laser hair removal. In 2001, Anne attended Rocky Mountain Laser College where she became a Certified Laser Specialist and received an all-inclusive training in a number of areas including:

• Laser Physics
• Hair/Skin Biology and Anatomy
• Technical Specifications: Pre and Post Treatment Protocols
• Indications
• Had-On Training
• Laser Safety

Anne is currently an instructor at Avante Laser Training Institute, The Woodlands, where she teaches courses in theory and physics in laser hair removal and tattoo removal. She also supervises the performance of students’ procedures on clients and conducts remote training for students all over Texas. To improve her knowledge and students’ education, she frequently attends aesthetic workshops and keeps herself up-to-date in the laser technology field.

Nina Bergeron

Licensed Aesthetician and Laser Hair Removal Senior Technician

Nina Bergeron received her aesthetic training from Aveda Institute and has been a licensed aesthetician since 2010 as well as a laser hair removal technician since 2014. She has her laser hair removal training and certification from Avante Laser Training Institute, The Woodlands.

Nina’s aesthetic experience covers Customized Facials, Diamond Tip Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Laser Safety, Sciton Advanced Applications using GLO Minerals, PCA, Biopelle and Apeele Nina teaches seminar classes at Avante Laser Training Institute, The Woodlands, in IPL/Photofacials, Skin Tightening, Body Contouring, Microneedling and Skin Resurfacing.
